Charity McCoy

Charity grew up in Richmond, Virginia, and lived there until moving to Sarasota in 1983 with her parents.  She worked full time at Wagon Wheel Restaurant while earning her Associates degree from Manatee Junior College.  Life choices did not permit her to continue her education until later, but she knew that she felt called to be in ministry.  Charity grew up in the Mennonite Church and came from a family of Pastors, Teachers, and Missionaries.  As a young adult, Charity was very active in the Mennonite Church she attended in Sarasota.  In subsequent years, she was called to a staff position as Minister of Christian Education.  Later, she was able to return to school at Eastern Mennonite Seminary where she received her certification as a Spiritual Director and Spiritual Formation Coach.

Charity has a heart and passion to see believers set free from addictions, healed from painful experiences, growing in their ability to hear God's Spirit, and walking in full obedience to God and His Word.  Her own life’s journey has given her a sensitivity to persons in crisis.

Charity and her husband, Pastor David, both have a longing for deep and meaningful worship and vibrant congregational life.  Their call is to love and minister to their spiritual mishpacah (family) that YHVH has brought to Yeshua’s Love Biblical Fellowship.
